Engineering Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing Latvian-founded technology company operating in the US market. Following a period of strong business growth, the company is investing heavily in its technology organization and preparing for its next stage of expansion.

As the engineering team continues to grow, they are looking for an Engineering Manager who will help shape engineering culture, build high-performing autonomous teams, and create the processes needed to scale efficiently while maintaining startup agility.

What You'll Do

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys enabling engineers to do their best work, building strong teams, and creating an environment where product and engineering collaborate effectively.

You will:

  • Take ownership of day-to-day engineering leadership responsibilities
  • Drive and strengthen a product engineering culture across the team
  • Establish and formalize engineering processes, ceremonies, and operating rhythms
  • Partner closely with the product team to ensure effective collaboration and clear ownership boundaries
  • Mentor engineers and promote autonomy, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Foster a culture of rapid prototyping, experimentation, and hypothesis-driven development
  • Improve visibility into engineering delivery and support capitalization tracking where required
  • Help scale the organization while maintaining a fast-moving and pragmatic approach to execution

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a product-focused technology company
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript and Node.js, with the ability to effectively support and challenge engineering teams
  • Previous experience as a Team Lead, Engineering Lead, or in a similar people leadership role
  • Experience mentoring engineers and supporting their professional development
  • Ability to build and lead autonomous, high-performing teams
  • Product engineering mindset and strong business awareness
  • Comfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Growth mindset, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership approach
