As a DevOps/SRE engineer, you will specialize in Way4 payments processing platform and its supporting technologies. Your responsibilities include deployment, configuration, and maintenance of various platform modules as well as the underlying cloud infrastructure and DevOps platform. Together with Application support engineer and Security team you are responsible of delivering a highly available, reliable, and secure SaaS service.
What will you do:
• Work according to DevOps, SRE, and industry best practices; contribute to the cloud-native approach and technology stack; test new tools and technologies.
• Build and maintain the multi-cloud infrastructure, DevOps toolset, and platform components – continuously improving automation and building new solutions.
• Build, maintain, and improve platform monitoring solutions.
• Together with the security and compliance team, develop, implement, and maintain secure and compliant systems.
• Deploy, integrate, and maintain the WAY4 platform, including application releases, patches, and new client environments.
• Help debug application issues together with the application support team and provide feedback to the application development team.
• Be a member of the operations team; work with the service desk; respond to incidents, service requests, and customer support requests.
• Provide on-call support on a rolling basis and ensure 24/7 operation of the platform.
You should have:
• Analytical mindset, focused on teamwork and solving problems and able to prioritize tasks.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Be familiar with cloud technologies.
• Understanding of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and Configuration Management (CM). Proficient in Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and overall automation, testing and monitoring. (GitLab experience is preferred, but any other CI/CD tool is also acceptable).
• Good understanding and knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting.
• Good understanding of networking.
• At least basic knowledge of SQL.
Bonus if you have:
• Experience in payment cards, banking, payments industry, payment scheme specifications and processes.
• Experience in environments with positive focus on security and compliance (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, Zero Trust Architecture).
