To strengthen the hub, they are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers who enjoy solving complex challenges, shaping technical direction, and building tools that make other engineers more productive.
About the product and team
You will join the team building the next version of a centralized self-service platform - a widely used internal solution that helps engineers and data scientists work faster and more efficiently. It’s a role with real impact: the platform will become a core part of the daily workflow across the organization.
What makes you stand out
- Experience with AWS to support the future product landscape
- Understanding of Data Modelling and ability to guide other teams on data gaps or inconsistencies
- Background in SRE: toil reduction, monitoring, alerting
- Hands-on experience with open-source projects (e.g. datahubproject.io)
- Skilled in DevOps practices, especially CI/CD (including GitLab)
- Awareness or experience with BI tools and Data Warehousing solutions (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Teradata)

Job requirements
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker (Helm is a plus)
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
- Understanding of Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Postgres
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience
- A “jack of all trades” mindset — ability and willingness to handle a wide range of system aspects
- Nice to have: experience with JavaScript component-based frameworks (Vue.js, React)
- Good English skills
