Security is at the core of everything they do. Since working in the financial sector, they must meet regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS, EU DORA, PIN Security, and voluntarily adheres to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 standards.
We’re looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to help maintain and enhance the security of their global cloud infrastructure.
You don’t need to check every box - if you’re eager to learn and grow, we want to hear from you! DevOps and similar engineers welcome to apply even if you don't have experience with cloud security. Motivation and willingness to learn in the security domain will be considered enough!
What You Will Do:
- Design and implement technical solutions and controls to secure the infrastructure
- Perform maintenance activities to keep solutions up and running
- Use and maintain security solutions like SIEM, PAM, vulnerability management solutions, Identity management solutions, Secret management solutions, etc.
- Provide support for external audits with technical evidence
- Participate in internal audits, security reviews and penetration tests as required (on changes, regular assessments)
- Improve reaction times by building automations, managing security systems as IaC
- Be part of internal SOC team. Review alerts of suspicious activities, perform log analysis. Help improve detections of suspicious activities by implementing new controls.
- Work on on-call incident response schedule with other team members.
- Stay current with industry trends, threats and evaluate new security technologies.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Interest in cybersecurity and/or cloud infrastructure
- Experience with some of the DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience with Linux systems and command-line environments.
- Basic understanding of security concepts (e.g., IAM, access controls, encryption).
- Experience or willingness to learn cloud platforms.
Nice to have:
- Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, or incident response processes.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., DNS, subnets, firewalls).
- Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker or others).
- Previous experience in the payment card industry or regulated environments.
- Security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, cloud security credentials).
