Account Manager

Our Client is a worldwide leader in tax-free shopping solutions, helping travelers claim VAT refunds on purchases in more than 50 countries. In Riga, they work with over 1000 stores and are proud to offer innovative digital solutions that enhance the shopping experience for tourists and boost results for their retail partners.

Their Latvian team is looking for a confident and customer-oriented Account Manager to join them in managing and supporting their growing network of merchant partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Support and manage a group of existing retail clients 
  • Visit partner stores regularly and make sure key information is added to the CRM system
  • Help educate merchants on how to use the company’s digital tools effectively
  • Monitor basic performance indicators (like refund activity) and assist in reaching sales targets
  • Assist in collecting and presenting data insights to improve service use
  • Help ensure accurate client data and follow-ups
  • Support the implementation of new services and marketing materials (like updating logos or materials in stores)
  • Collaborate with the team to solve challenges and reach shared goals
  • Occasionally assist with administrative tasks, such as incoming calls or emails
Who You Are (Must-Haves):
  • Have some experience in customer service, retail, or sales
  • You’re a strong communicator and enjoy working with people
  • You have a proactive and customer-oriented mindset
  • You’re organized and comfortable juggling several tasks at once
  • You’re confident using Excel and open to learning CRM and BI tools
  • You speak fluent Latvian and English
  • You have a valid driver’s license and are comfortable traveling to stores (a company car is available)
Nice to Have:
  • Russian language skills
  • Degree or ongoing studies in business, marketing, or related fields
  • Any prior experience (even internships or part-time roles) in a client-facing or service environment
