QA Engineer

Our client, an innovative UK-based FinTech company, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their international team on a long-term, full-time B2B contract. Their product is transforming the way people experience travel and payments, making every interaction smarter, fairer, and more seamless.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans (manual and automated) to ensure functional, UI, and performance quality.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, report defects, and drive improvements.
  • Participate in planning, define test scenarios, and maintain test automation for core features.
  • Track and verify fixes while continuously improving testing processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a QA role, preferably with both web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing both manual and automated tests.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
  • Ability to translate requirements into clear, structured test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and edge cases.
  • Effective communication skills for working directly with developers and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Experience testing event-driven or modular backend systems.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

Offer:

  • Fully remote position
  • 5000 EUR gross/month ((Please let us know if your salary expectations differ; we will evaluate each case individually)
  • 20 paid holiday days per year, with potential for option shares and performance-based bonuses depending on commitment and KPI targets
  • Fully-covered business trips to the company`s UK office.
