PHP Developer

Our client, a fast-growing FinTech company based in the UK, is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join their international team on a long-term, full-time B2B contract. The company is transforming the travel industry by combining cutting-edge technology with smarter, fairer payment solutions. Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing back-end systems in Laravel (PHP)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, with advanced MySQL skills
• Experience building APIs and working with event-driven systems
• Proficiency in using version control systems (Git)
• Strong understanding of system architecture, modular development, and scalability.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities without micromanagement

Nice to have:

• Experience with Redis or other caching systems
• Familiarity with containerised environments (e.g., Docker)
• Background in building internal tooling or frameworks
• Experience refactoring or modernising legacy codebases
• Exposure to multi-tenant systems and permission-based architectures
  

Offer:

• Fully remote position
• 5000 EUR gross/month (Please let us know if your salary expectations differ; we will evaluate each case individually)
• 20 paid holiday days per year, with potential for option shares and performance-based bonuses depending on commitment and KPI targets
• Fully-covered business trips to the company`s UK office
