Network Administrator

‍Location: HQ in Riga, Latvia. Hybrid work model.

As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the company’s high-traffic enterprise network, which spans various physical and cloud locations across the globe. Responsibilities will include working closely with other IT departments, such as Development, Security, and Engineering, to ensure the resilience, stability, and efficiency of our networking operations.

You have :

  • Experience in building and maintaining IT networking stack
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Fortigate, Aruba, or Cisco
  • Expertise in network troubleshooting, packet analysis, and debugging
  • Good knowledge of communication and routing protocols
  • Experience with network device centralized management and main concepts
  • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, or other fundamental networking services
  • Understanding of the following protocols IP, BGP, OSPF, TCP/UDP, IPSEC, or RADIUS (IEEE 802.1x)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Independent decision-making ability
  • Good English knowledge


Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with regulations related to network security
  • Experience in managing both Windows and Linux servers

Responsibilities: 

  • Resolve networking issues reported by end users and monitoring systems
  • Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate networks and supporting infrastructure
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses
  • Stay updated on technologies to maintain competence above current standards
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, documenting problems and resolutions
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Manage technical documentation, manuals, and policies using the internal wiki
  • Plan networking software/service license renewals
