Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Risk to design and lead a modern, scalable risk framework within a fast-growing fintech environment. This role goes beyond compliance - it is about enabling responsible growth while maintaining strong regulatory integrity.
Your Impact
- Develop and implement the overall risk management strategy across operational, financial, fraud, and compliance risk
- Build and lead the risk function, including policies, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Act as the main liaison with regulators and external partners on risk-related matters
- Oversee AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring processes
- Introduce data-driven risk assessment tools and automation where possible
- Support product and commercial teams in launching new markets responsibly
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or AML within fintech, payments, banking, or crypto
- Proven experience interacting with regulators
- Strong understanding of EU regulatory frameworks
- Experience building or scaling risk functions in high-growth environments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate regulation into practical business processes
- Leadership experience and strong communication skills
