QA Engineer

Our partner, who is a fast-growing fintech company, is expanding and building a new team in Riga!

The company is an Estonian licensed payment service provider that develops financial digital technology from 2016. As a QA Engineer you will support the engineering teams. A QA team of three people is planned to be created to test web systems and support the development process.

• Golang, gRPC, JSON REST API, Docker, Kubernetes PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS infrastructure, Python, Pytest, Postman, TestRail

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the whole software development life cycle
• Design comprehensive test plans for complex projects
• Guide and mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices and knowledge with the team
• Execute complex test scenarios
• Automate advanced test cases and maintain automation frameworks
• Analyse bugs to identify trends and areas of concern
• Recommend improvements to the QA process and tools and lead initiatives for implementing those improvements
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders on advanced feature
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends

Requirements:‍

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance field (experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress; understanding of framework architecture)
• Strong knowledge of Python, Pytest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
• Backend testing, API testing, database testing, POStman
• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure for software development and delivery
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• You have good English and communication skills
• Experience working with agile software development teams
• Ability to work independently and proactively
