Chief Technology Officer (Finance, FinTech)

Our client is a fast-growing international FinTech company providing digital payment services to merchants, banks, and payment service providers across 30+ countries. Trusted by more than 2000 clients globally, the company is known for its innovation, technical expertise, and commitment to secure, scalable infrastructure.

To support further growth and strengthen its leadership team, the company is looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology direction, IT operations, and technical innovation initiatives.

What You will do:

• Define and implement the company's technical strategy in line with business goals;
• Lead internal IT, infrastructure, and technical support teams;
• Maintain a stable and secure IT environment and oversee systems operations;
• Manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and consultants;
• Ensure IT risk management and compliance with security standards;
• Introduce new and innovative solutions to support business growth;
• Align development plans with business needs and cross-functional teams;
• Oversee procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle of IT infrastructure;
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:‍

• 5+ years in a senior technology leadership role
• Experience in electronic payments, banking, or FinTech sectors
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Hands-on approach to technical and operational challenges
• Experience leading diverse technical teams and managing external vendors
• Fluent in Latvian, English and Russian.
