Business System Analyst

Our client, one of the leading insurance companies in the Baltics, is looking for a Business System Analyst to strengthen their IT department. You’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, analyzing and documenting system interactions across Finance, HR, and Insurance processes. We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join a leading insurance company in the Baltics.
You’ll be working with HR, Finance, and Insurance systems, focusing on how these systems interact and documenting their architecture.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze and document system interactions between finance, HR, and other business processes
  • Create architectural documentation and system diagrams
  • Write SQL queries and scripts to support analysis
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to gather requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners across the Baltics
  • Prepare and present findings and proposals to stakeholders

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and interactions
  • Experience with large IT systems and financial transactions
  • Excellent English and Latvian skills for documentation and partner communication
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in the financial or insurance industry
  • Scripting/programming skills
  • Knowledge of documentation management systems and integrations
  • Familiarity with financial, insurance, or group IT systems

Work model:

  • First 3 months full-time on-site (probation period)
