Back-end Developer (Node.js)

The company is looking for a Back-end Developer to join their 12-person IT team based in Riga. This team is dedicated to transforming healthcare into an experience as engaging and entertaining as video games while maintaining strict medical accuracy and delivering tangible benefits to users. • Monthly salary of 4000 - 6000 EUR Gross depending on your knowledge and evaluation

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs for web and mobile applications
• Be a part of a project where you will build a new system from scratch
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL (indexing and optimizing them)
• Work with Nest.js and other relevant back-end tools and libraries
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the delivery of quality solutions

Requirements:

• Good knowledge working with Node.js (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with Nest.js framework
• Strong understanding of Back-end architecture
• Experience in API development
• Experience working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate ideas, persuade stakeholders, and effectively plan tasks
• Ability to write efficient and well-structured code

Not mandatory to Apply, but will be considered a Plus if:

• Experience with front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with Blitz.js framework
• Experience working with ORM (Prisma, TypeORM, MikroORM)
