Front-end Developer

They have invested several millions into building the best technology and nutrition methodology in this 200-billion-dollar industry. With your help, they aim to 10x their revenue in the next 3 years. Their ultimate dream is to help 1 billion people in their lifetime and become the go-to choice in the EU and the US for preventive medicine tools – both paid and freemium.

The team is looking for a Front-end Developer to join an IT team of 10 professionals based in Riga. This team is dedicated to transforming healthcare into an experience as engaging and entertaining as video games while maintaining strict medical accuracy and delivering tangible benefits to users. What you'll do: 

• Develop and maintain web applications;
• Write clean and maintainable code adhering to modern web development principles such as SOLID and Clean Code;
• Provide recommendations for refactoring existing codebases;
• Ensure code is easily understandable, well-documented, and covered by automated tests;
• Understand business requirements and goals, and translate them into technical specifications.

Must have requirements:

• You are at least a mid-level Front-end Developer with strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and previous experience with Javascript;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate ideas, persuade stakeholders, and effectively plan tasks;
• Ability to write efficient and well-structured code;
• Attention to detail and ability to create UI for different screen resolutions.

Nice to have, but not mandatory to have to apply:

• Experience with React.js;
• Experience with A/B testing.
